Understand Impact on Children & Young People of Parental Substance and Alcohol Related Problems / Refresher Grp 3

Participants will have a sound knowledge base in child development and family functioning. The course will build on existing knowledge, understanding and experience within the group and will provide a combination of didactic teaching, discussion and small group/pairs exercises.

The following Refresher elements will be covered in the context of the Impact of Parental Substance and Alcohol Misuse: – signs and symptoms of safeguarding issues – presentation of children at different ages – how and when to make a referral – lessons from serious case reviews.

Substance and Alcohol Related Problems for group 3 and above

Register in the name attending the course.  Do not register your details if you are registering for someone else.
As part of the registration process you will need to create a user name and password.

Early Years:
When requested to complete your ‘Organisation’ details you will need to type in Early Years and not your setting as all individual settings will not be listed.

Schools:
Please enter your Full Finest Code eg E10 1234 etc.……….. where a cost code is requested.

GPs/Dentists:
When registering your work details as a new user please type in the Organisation box the following (GP or Dentist) and click Search and the drop down box underneath will list the Organisation GP surgery or Devon Dentist.  Individual surgery names are not listed.
