National Educational Network

The National Educational Network is a dedicated, educationally focused resource for teaching and learning without constraints of time or location. Harnessing our unique expertise, we enable a safe, secure, collaborative and creative learning experience for pupils, teachers and parents.  The NEN community has pioneered work in the field of Internet safety with great success. The regionally and nationally acclaimed resources contained within the NEN E-Safety site provide specific advice for pupils, parents and carers, governors, schools and local authorities.

Safe Kids

SafeKids.com is one of the oldest and most enduring sites for Internet safety. It’s creator, Larry Magid, is the author of the original 1994 brochure, “Child Safety on the Information Highway” and is also a technology journalist.  It has also developed A Parents’ Guide to Facebook (PDF), a new booklet and online resource that provides parents with the tools they need to help their teens optimize privacy and safety on Facebook.

Insafe

Insafe is a European network of Awareness Centres promoting safe, responsible use of the Internet and mobile devices to young people. It is co-funded by the Safer Internet Programme.
